Advisor (Technical): S. Jagmohan Singh Khokhar

Jagmohan Singh Khokhar is a writer of mainly biography of Sikh Gurus in Hindi which are published in some of the renowned dailies of the city and a social worker with a difference. He also pens poems with message of love and unity amongst communities, current affairs and social stigma, etc. He has participated and recited his poems in various Kavi Goshthi and Mushairas organised by different groups of Kolkata. He was employed in the Howrah Division of Eastern Railways in the Signal & Telecommunication Department since 1982 and had since retired from July, 2020 at Howrah. He is relocated and now resides in the holy city of Amritsar in Punjab from March, 2021.

He is nephew of Late Dr. Kulwant Singh Khokhar of Batala, Punjab, India who migrated to Chester, Virginia, USA, who in addition to being an Ophthalmologist was also a Sikh Studies Scholar and a writer of many books on Sikhism. He has the distinction of authoring more than 27 books based on Sikh Religion, Sikh Faith, Sikh Rehat-Maryada, etc.

Jagmohan Singh Khokhar has been honoured by Punjabi University, Patiala for his contribution in promoting Sikh Values in the society. He has been selected as Advisor to the Komagata Maru Martyrs’ Memorial Trust, Kolkata. He is also a recipient of National Level (Minister’s) Award of Indian Railways besides many General Manager as well as Divisional Level awards. He has received more than once the prestigious Excellence in Performance award of the S&T Department and was once selected Man of the Month by Howrah Division.
