Member Implementation Committee: Dr. Jaspal Singh

Dr. Jaspal Singh is Ex. Vice Chancellor of  Punjabi University, Patiala & was Member of the Implementation Committee constituited in 2014 by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in association with the Komagata Maru Martyrs' Memorial Trust, Budge Budge Ghat, Kolkata, India.

Dr. Jaspal Singh ia a former diplomat. He was India's High Commissioner to Mozambique & Swaziland. He secured his Master's degree in Political Science and Diploma in Foreign Affairs from Aligarh Muslim University. After this he did his Ph.D. form Punjabi University, Chandigarh on the topic 'The Concept of State as Reflected in Sikh Scriptures and Historical Writings' in 1989. He has a total 32 years of teaching experience in Khalsa College, University of Delhi. During this period he was also Principal of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi for seven years.
